Positioned within ³Ô¹ÏÍø's cultural and botanic garden precinct, MPavilion is a tranquil sanctuary reminiscent of a traditional Japanese walled garden featuring a canopy disc and expansive pond, surrounded by lush greenery and cityscape.

Since 2014, MPavilion has worked with the world’s most significant architectural thinkers to create a space for engagement with urgent urban, civic, and design concerns. Previous MPavilions have been relocated to new homes across Victoria, including University of ³Ô¹ÏÍø and ³Ô¹ÏÍø Zoo.

Tadao Ando's MPavilion will remain in Queen Victoria Gardens until 2030, following a decision by the ³Ô¹ÏÍø to extend its stay.
