Bistro d'Orsay recreates the moody and romantic ambience of an authentic French bistro with its dark wood interior and subtle lighting.

It is the perfect place for a pre-theatre dinner if you're heading to the Athenaeum Theatre next door or the Regent Theatre across the road.

You'll find French classics and the occasional Italian dish creeping in. Keep an eye out for their bouillabaisse - a soup from the south of France loaded with prawns, scallops, fish and mussels in a saffron, tomato and fennel broth with crouton and rouille.

The wine list is mainly a mix of French and Australian wines with a few surprises thrown in.
