The Veterans Public Arts Trail is believed to be the world’s only guided walking trail dedicated to public art created by veterans. Hosted by the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum, the trail highlights the significant contribution of the Veteran Community to ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s built environment through sculptures, murals and buildings designed or supported by veterans as artists, architects and arts patrons.

The guided walk follows a 3km route over 2.5 hours, travelling from Russell Street to St Kilda Road. Along the way, participants are led by a knowledgeable host who draws attention to more than two dozen public artworks, buildings and sites of historical significance connected to Australia’s military and veteran heritage.

Open to the general public, this guided walking tour offers a unique way to experience ³Ô¹ÏÍø through art, history and storytelling, revealing veteran influence woven into the city’s cultural and architectural fabric.
