The Medical History Museum at the University of ³Ô¹ÏÍø is a free museum for those inquisitive about medicine's contribution to scientific discovery and community wellbeing.
Established in 1967, the museum covers the history of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Medical School and the broader history of medicine in Australia and beyond.
The museum’s collection consists of more than 6,000 pieces covering more than 400 years of Western medical history – from Roman surgical instruments to memorabilia from the University of ³Ô¹ÏÍø's Medical Students Society.
The Medical History Museum has an annual program of exhibitions and tours are available by appointment.
