Millsom and Morris' shared love of native Australian flora and fauna inspired the culmination of works for this exhibition. The combined works of the artists portrays the inhabitants of the landscape, telling a story of the artists interaction with the land both locally and across the country in their travels.
Liz Millsom is a ³Ô¹ÏÍø-based artist who has exhibited solely and collaboratively. Working primarily in portrait painting, printmaking and illustration with an emphasis on the human and animal form. Her work has been sculpted by her concerns for the ongoing threat to the local ecosystem and wildlife, in addition to her devotion and concerns for First Nations history and preservation of their culture.
Originally qualified in graphic design, Susan Morris' product and textile designs centred around the botanical, which has transcended into expression through her work as an oil painter. Her work compliments Millsom's tribute to the native Australian ecosystem.
