Australian Sports Museum

The Australian Sports Museum isn’t your typical museum.

It’s an exciting, interactive and ever-changing experience where the latest technology has been used to create immersive exhibits and galleries; including cricket, Australian Football, the Olympics, Sport Australia Hall of Fame and Victorian Racing Gallery.

A popular highlight is the Game On! interactive gallery, where visitors of all ages can join in on a range of activities that include kicking for goal, cycling, archery, reaction testing and beating the goalie. Collect your sweatband and interact with the exhibits as you learn about Australian culture through sport.

The museum is open on ³Ô¹ÏÍø Cup Day, but is closed on AFL match days, Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Please check the MCG website for further details about opening hours during match days as times may vary.
