  • Exterior windows and entrance to Olmate sandwich shop with blurred pedestrians walking past, an outdoor table, and greenery in the foreground.
  • A hand holding a cup of coffee, next to the coffee is a burger and other food resting on a table top.
  • A red hot sauce being drizzled over the top of a stacked cut-beef sandwich.
  • Two pairs of hands holding up sandwiches in long bread rolls, one roll covered in grated cheese, hot chips and takeaway coffee cups in the background.

OlMate's

OlMate's is a sandwich cafe located in ³Ô¹ÏÍø's Southbank arts precinct created from a partnership between blue-chip industry veterans, notorious Reverence Coffee roasters, and menu input from Palermo’s head chef, Michael Dalton.

The walls are adorned with green tiles and crisp detailing, and the menu is simple but hearty. They serve a selection of classics with a twist, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. For a hearty start, try the roast beef sanga, which features spice-crusted beef, mint and coriander chutney, and comes paired with a rogan josh dipping sauce.

Or, for something lighter, there's the salad sandwich, which teams beetroot, sprouts and other goodies with either lemon roast chicken or vegan-friendly crushed chickpeas.

No meal at OlMate's would be complete without a cup of coffee. The team at Reverence are head-roasters, so you can be sure that the coffee is top-notch with their variety of blends and single-origin beans.
