David's Master Pot - Elizabeth Street
The perfect way to warm you up on a cold day in ³Ô¹ÏÍø is with a spicy pot (malatang in Chinese). Mala means ¡°hot & numbing¡±, which is the sensation you get from Sichuan peppercorns.
Spicy pot was originally a Sichuan street food. The restaurant owner, David, grew up there. Their soup base is made from a traditional Sichuan recipe, slow-cooked with dozens of Chinese herbs. You can choose from hundreds of ingredients to create a personalised pot. They also offer many other authentic Sichuan street foods.
