With its shipping container bar and laneway location, you’ll have a peak ³Ô¹ÏÍø experience at Section 8. Their mulled wine concoction is is inspired by German gluhwein for major Euro winter vibes. Think a mixture of triple sec, brandy, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and cardamom. Did we mention it's only $10?
Riverland
Don't let the chill stop you from dining outdoors, just pull up a seat under Riverland's heaters and and get toasty. The waterside beer garden has been given a cosy winter makeover, right down to the drinks menu. Wrap your hands around a hot glass of mulled wine. The brew of red wine and winter spices is given a nutty twist with a dash of Frangelico.

The Sherlock Holmes Inn
The mulled treats don't have to stop at wine. If you've never tried a mulled cider, it's a deliciously sweet and warming drink. The Sherlock Homes' take is served hot and fresh in a mug. Take it up a notch with a shot of cinnamon-loaded Fireball whisky.
Croque Monsieur
Tucked away in one of ³Ô¹ÏÍø's tiniest hidden laneways is where you'll find Croque ³Ô¹ÏÍø. This French toastie wonderland also does a cracking mulled cider so you can warm up the Northern Hemisphere way. The homemade brew is a steal at just $11 a pop.
