Marvel at a magical river show

28 November to 25 December

The spectacular river show is returning to Crown with a new look this Christmas! Stroll down Southbank Promenade to catch this dazzling Christmas show featuring water fountains, lasers, light projections and a festive soundtrack. Shows run every night from 9pm.

Take the kids to the Myer Christmas Windows

8 November to 11 January

There's nothing more ³Ô¹ÏÍø than lining up to see the iconic Myer Christmas Windows. This year's windows feature a tiny LEGO ³Ô¹ÏÍø world. See the MCG and Sidney Myer Music Bowl building shrunk down into adorable miniature versions. And see sparkling projections light up Bourke Street Mall. Plus visit the pop-up LEGO play space in the basement. Then head up to level 7 for your family Santa photo.

Catch $8 Christmas movie screenings

Grab the popcorn and enjoy a series of festive films at the stunning Capitol Theatre, with a mix of family favourites and cult classics. Sit back and watch festive flicks like Home Alone, Elf and The Santa Clause. Adults pay $8 and kids tickets are only $5.

From magical light shows to the almost 18-metre high LED tree, there's plenty to love at Christmas Square. Wander through endless glittering decorations day and night. Sing carols by candlelight

23 and 24 December

A cherished ³Ô¹ÏÍø tradition is singing carols at the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Christmas Eve. Expect magical live performances from a stacked lineup of singers, comedians and more. And look out for a visit from the big guy in red! Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight sparks extra joy by supporting a great cause, too. Can't make it on the night?
