This solo exhibition by Louise Marson features sculptural artwork crafted from upcycled oyster shells and hessian bags sourced from ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s iconic Queen Victoria Market, transformed into artworks with an ecological narrative.
The exhibition honours ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s oyster heritage while emphasising the vital role of Indigenous wisdom in ecological conservation.
Louise’s lumen photogram series is made by putting objects and/or materials on light-sensitive surfaces, in this case, black and white photography paper.
Come along to the launch event on Thursday 18 September, 5.30pm–7pm, (Auslan event).
There will be an artist talk on Sunday 5 October, 2pm-3pm.
