Koorie Heritage Trust Solo Exhibitions

KHT proudly presents two powerful solo exhibitions exploring connection, family and culture by respected First Nations artists Uncle Colin (Col) Clark and Dr Jenny Murray-Jones.

Connections to Home is the first solo exhibition by Barkindji and Ngiyampaa Elder Uncle Col Clark, featuring 50 handcrafted works created over 20 years. The collection includes spears, shields, clubs, boomerangs, didgeridoos, painted emu eggs, bowls, and paintings – each reflecting deep cultural knowledge and connection to Country.

Coming Home by Yorta Yorta, Baraparapa and Wiradjuri artist Dr Jenny Murray-Jones showcases up to 25 works from KHT’s Collections and her recent paintings. Her work explores themes of family reconnection, Country, Kinship, and the lasting impact of colonisation and institutional life. Both exhibitions speak to the strength, resilience and enduring spirit of First Peoples communities.

Both exhibitions are part of KHT’s National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week 2025 program.
