Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Victoria presents Jubilee

  • Theatre
  • Music

This production in the heart of ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s theatre district celebrates 90 glorious years of ‘innocent merriment’ from one of Australia's oldest performing arts groups, Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Victoria, and 150 years of Trial By Jury, which began the most successful partnership that the theatre has known.

Trial By Jury starts with a breach of promise of marriage and becomes a frothy courtroom comedy.

This performance will be followed by a historical and musical recreation of Gilbert and Sullivan productions in Victoria – with particular emphasis on the 90 years of this Society – showcasing their most brilliant performers old and new, with full chorus and orchestra.
